1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari (for a gluten-free option)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and black pepper to taste

Burger buns

Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, etc.)

Instructions:

1- Whisk balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, soy sauce, dried thyme, minced garlic, dried rosemary, and black pepper in a dish.

2- Marinate portobello mushroom caps in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

3- Lightly oil grill grates.

4- Grill marinated mushroom caps, brushing with reserved marinade.

5- Grill for 5 to 6 minutes per side until tender with grill marks.

6- Brush caps with marinade while grilling.

7- Transfer grilled mushroom caps to a plate.

8- Place each cap on a bun.

9- Add desired toppings.

10- Serve with fries or salad for a complete meal.
